Our sympathies to the family and friends of Muriel Cronin. Muriel died July 25 in Denver, CO. Muriel and her late husband John came to Tempe in 1966 and joined Church of the Good Shepherd/University Lutheran Church. In recent years Muriel moved to be near son Paul in Denver. Daughter Martha lives in Massachusetts and daughter Sarah died in March 2018 in Mesa. Muriel’s cremains will be interred next to her late husband’s at Augustana Lutheran Church, Denver. A memorial service for Muriel will be held at University Lutheran in late October or early November.

We have not been using names during our prayers for online worship for reasons of privacy and will continue that policy.

However, now that we are back in person and moving toward more normal times, we will begin including names in our prayers for in person worship.

Our old list is seriously out of date, so if you have someone to include in our in person prayers, please notify the church office info@ulctempe.org or 480.967.3543. Thank you!

We celebrate with Esther on her accomplishments. You may have also seen Esther on our weekly online worship services. Esther is a former member and serves as our Lector and Worship Assistant on many of the online worship services.
