The Stewardship and Finance Committee has designed t-shirts to go along with our stewardship theme: God’s Work, Our Hands–University Lutheran Church–Giving, Growing, Gathering.
T-shirts are free (thanks to anonymous donations) and can be picked up on Sunday in the Sanctuary. After Sunday, they will be available in the office. There is a limited supply so get one before they are gone! Remember to fill out and return your pledge card too. Thank you.
Thank you for your cards, prayers, emails, texts, and conversations of condolence on the death of Gary’s father from Pastor Gary, Mary Beth, Randy, Andrea, Gavin & Addison. We are grateful for such a supportive community.
The men of University Lutheran Church are ready to meet up again. The Men’s Breakfast Group will meet this Saturday (October 2) at 9:00 at Chompie’s (1160 E University Drive/Tempe).
Our sympathies are with family and loved ones of William E. “Bill” McCluskey, who died September 22 in Pennsylvania. Bill was the father of Pastor Gary and father-in law of Mary Beth. He was the grandfather of member Randy, grandfather-in-law of Andrea, and great-grandfather to Gavin and Addison McCluskey. Services will be in Pennsylvania on September 27.
