Community Vaccine Opportunity
If you haven’t received your COVID-19 vaccination and would like to–please see the attached flyer for vaccination dates and locations. The vaccination is open to children 12 and up also. Thank you! Stay safe and stay healthy.
The Maricopa County Department of Public Health is working diligently to ensure we make vaccine available to all areas within Maricopa County. It is very important to the Department of Public Health that we continue to vaccinate the public and continue the fight against COVID-19. Protecting every individual in your community protects the community! As a result of our Outreach Program Partner efforts we have to-date reached over 500,000 people with information about nearby vaccination events! The Program has received support from businesses, places of worship, apartment complexes, community centers, and schools in 83 zip codes to bring word of nearby vaccine availability to your communities.
These events will be held June 22-August 7 on select dates. Please refer to the Flyer that is attached to this email for more information.
Bright, Fresh Numbers on the Sign
Next time you arrive at church, notice the bright freshly painted numbers at the entrance. Thanks to Will Salz, Terry Anderson and Lori Zurcher the address numbers have been replaced. The numbers have been replaced and painted. A bright new look for the summer and folks start returning to church after a challenging year. THANKS Will, Terry, and Lori!
Diakonia Retreat – July 10 and July 17
Diakonia is sponsoring a 2 day Zoom retreat coming on July 10 and 17th. It is an opportunity for people to learn about some of the beliefs the early church. It should be quite interesting for those who want to grow in faith and learn more about church history.
The two day retreat/workshop will be led by Pastor Stewart McDonald via a Zoom link 8:45AM to Noon.
