7:00 am students gather to head to as many as 3 churches at a time to sell hundreds of the packages of Lefse that they made and packaged.
Due to the Pandemic this is the first time they could do this in 2 years. It was a new experience for almost all of them under the capable leadership of Campus Ministry Associate, Dylan Weeks.
We continue to receive non perishable food items for the Pitchfork ( ASU) food pantry. ASU students report one third of all students struggle with food anxiety each week.
Here you see students lined up for food at Pitchfork Pantry. Food items can be placed in the food box by the desk at the church entrance. Thank you! (LCM is one of the founding members of Pitchfork Food Pantry.)
Holden Evening Prayer will be our form of worship for our Mid-week Advent worship. Worship is Wednesdays in Advent at 6:30pm and will be in person and via live stream. Our theme for mid-week Advent worship is “Not for Profit: An Advent Look at God’s Prophets”. We have one service remaining this Advent season.
Please join us for Christmas Eve candle-light service on Saturday, December 24, at 6:00 pm in our sanctuary or via our live stream. There will also be a Sunday, December 25, Christmas Day service at 10:30 am in our sanctuary or via our live stream.

December brings our annual shopping opportunities to ULC/LCM! We will have our Fair Trade Fair from SERRV as well as Good Gifts from ELCA available at the back of the sanctuary. We hope to have it set up Thanksgiving weekend.
This is NOT a fundraiser. In the SERRV Fair Trade Fair, many countries are represented and the money goes directly back to the artisans and their families. The money goes to help develop schools, jobs, and health programs in the various impoverished communities. By purchasing an ornament from Good Gifts, the money goes directly to people working to be self-sufficient, healthy, and educated. Come see the wide varieties of opportunities for meaningful gift giving.
Consider supporting others with your Christmas purchases this year. There are plenty of opportunities to obtain unique gifts for those on your list.
