Freshman, Interdisciplinary Studies Major: International Business and European Union Studies
Why did you choose your major? I really like traveling and experiencing other cultures and that major would allow me to do that.
Why did you choose ASU? I really enjoyed the variety of selections for majors. ASU has a Public Service Academy; within this Academy is a program called the Next Generation Service Corps. This is a four-year leadership building program where you work with business, non-profits, and governments towards a positive community impact.
Why did you first start coming to LCM? I was looking for a church to become involved with. My parents saw LCM and thought it would be a good fit. I tried it and really liked it after the first service.
How has LCM impacted your college life? It has given me a home within ASU and helped ease the transition by providing me with a really good support network.
What is your favorite thing about LCM? The Bible Studies!
What are your Hobbies? I play tennis. I love to travel and learn about other cultures and languages.
What are some facts about yourself? I’m from Alaska! I have traveled to 7 countries: Mexico, England, Spain, Austria, United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Germany, and Belgium.
If you had a magic carpet that could take you to any location at any time, where/when would you go, what would you do, and why? I can’t decide between two: California in the future (I’d like to see the innovations that Silicon Valley will have developed) or Germany now (to see the green, the wind power, the schnitzel, just to go back [He loves Germany!])
