Dear University,
You recently requested that the phone number 4809673543 be transferred from your current phone carrier over to Ooma.
This email is to let you know that we have submitted all of the information you provided to your current carrier and are awaiting confirmation from them. The expected date of your transfer is on or before 05-02-2023. However, this is just an estimated completion date at this point. We will notify you via email the day before your number transfer is to be completed. There is no need to call us since your request has already been processed. The purpose of this email is to simply let you know the expected date of your transfer.

You can log into My Ooma to get the latest status of any number porting request 24 hours a day. Just visit: https://my.ooma.com/porting_status. Please note that Ooma Customer Care Representatives do not have access to any additional information regarding the status of your port request other than what is found on this page.

Your phone number has been ported!
Dear University,
Your phone number has been transferred to Ooma! You may now contact your old carrier to confirm the cancellation of your account with them, but please wait at least one business day before doing so.
To make sure your Ooma device picks up your new phone number, power-cycle the unit by unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Once the box goes back into service, call your telephone number to make sure that the call rings through to your Ooma device.
