Our Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) group will be participating in a CORA (Council of Religious Advisors) event on Sunday, March 17th.
We will be joining other groups at the Campus Christian Center at 6:00 pm to cook dinner. The congregation is invited. There is a sign-up sheet on the moving bulletin board or you can contact the office: info@ulctempe.org or 480-967-3543.
Some of our University Lutheran Church (ULC) Young Adults are planning to attend the upcoming ELCA Young Adult Gathering in New Orleans from July 16-20. The theme for the Gathering is “Created to Be” entered on Psalm 139:14 (I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.)
Due to the expense, Bryan Gamelin (ULC Young Adult Coordinator), Paul Westermann (LCM and ASU graduate student), and other ULC Young Adults worked together to compile a fundraising letter in attempt to raise funds to help cover some of the costs.
Bryan was happy to get approximately 300 letters in the mail! We are hopeful the ULC Young Adults receive a good response!If you would like to make a donation for the young adults who will be attending, you may do so on our website. A special thank you to Savannah Bradley, ASU and LCM student, who coordinated the project and showed us how to make the no-sew blankets!

As part of our “70 Years Strong and Giving All Year Long,” the Finance and Stewardship Committee, along with the ULC Young Adults and LCM students, will be making blankets that the non-profit Project Linus gives to children in our area who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
Join us for the fun. No sewing skills required. Supplies provided by the Finance and Stewardship Committee. We will start after the student meal (12:30ish) on Sunday, January 28th, in the Campus Center Library. Hope to see you there.
