ULC Young Adults along with Gather Valley of the Sun will be co-hosting a game night this Saturday, Sept 20, at 6:30 pm. The location will be Gamer’s Guild in Phoenix – 1818 W Bell Rd. Please invite a friend, and you can even bring your own game(s) if you’d like! See you there!
ReconcilingWorks Mutual Aid Fund
In December 2024, ReconcilingWorks launched a mutual aid fund to provide support and assistance to LGBTQ Lutherans. “Mutual aid” is defined as a community working together to collectively support each others needs, especially where other social safety nets have left gaps. ReconcilingWorks’s mutual aid fund has been set up to support LGBTQ families and individuals in our congregation and ministries. Specifically, these funds will help people with processes like legal name changes, document updates, and adoption proceedings, where cost can be a barrier. Applicants are eligible to receive up to $500 (depending on their needs and situation), and the decision committee meets bi-weekly. Young Adults Return From Winter Retreat
Over the MLK Day weekend, young adults from around the valley—including many of ULC’s own—embraced community, faith, and adventure at the ELCA Young Adults Winter Retreat at Camp ALOMA in Prescott (January 17th-20th). Thank you to all whom prayed for spiritual growth and safe travels.

The University Lutheran Church (ULC) Young Adult Group has scheduled a hike on Saturday, April 13th, at 8:00 am. They will be doing a day hike at Woodchute Wilderness. Carpooling is available. Join the fun and enjoy our Arizona scenery!
