Discussing Our Mission, Vision, and Values on Sunday Feb. 2 & 15

We will gather as a congregation for two lunch sessions in February to discuss our mission, vision, and values.

  • Sunday, Feb 2 : Discuss our vision and mission – Identify what’s most important to us for the congregation’s current focus and desired aims.
  • Sunday, Feb 15: Discuss values for our congregation..

We won’t be starting from scratch. We will be working in small groups, building on the information we gathered last year at Future Day and from the Transition Team Report. Ray Kimball will be leading these sessions. Please join us for these important meetings. Both sessions will be at 11:30 am to 1 pm in the Campus Center.  Lunch will be provided.

  • 11:30 am – 1 pm Mission & Vision Discussion With Lunch for All (Campus Center).

Tuesday, February 4:

  • 8:00 pm AA (Campus Center).

Wednesday, February 5:

  • 12:00 pm CORA Meeting (Bridges International).
  • 5:00 pm Student Bible Study (Campus Center).
  • 5:30 pm Free Student Meal (Campus Center With Grab-and-Go Option).
  • 6:30 pm Contemporary Worship Service for All (Sanctuary).

Thursday, February 6:

  • 12:00 pm Page Turners’ Book Club (Campus Center Library).
  • 8:00 pm AA (Campus Center).

Sunday, February 9:

  • NO FORUM.
  • 10:30 am Sunday Worship (Sanctuary or via Live Stream).
  • 11:30 am Coffee & Refreshments (Campus Center).
  • 11:45 am Free Student Meal (Campus Center).

Save the Date: On February 2nd, after the Sunday Worship Service, we will gather over lunch to discuss our Mission and Vision for our church. We encourage all to come. We’ll meet again, on Sunday, February 16th, after church for another luncheon discussion about our church’s values. These meetings are for everyone. On these days, we won’t have a Forum.

Women’s Bible Study – Thursday, January 16th

The Women’s Bible Study is meeting on Thursday, January 16th at 6pm vai Zoom. The Bible Study provides an opportunity to learn and grow in faith as you connect with other women. Sessions are lead by past and present church members. Feel free to join us on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6 pm via Zoom.

Forums Return January 19th

After a holiday break, our Forums return on Sunday, January 19th. In The forums, we have presentation and lively discussion on a current issue or Biblical study.

Forums are on Sundays morning at 9:15-10:15 am (before the 10:30 Worship Service) in the Campus Center Library.

Books - Page Turner's Book Club

Is one of your goals reading more in the new year? Join the Page Turner’s Book Club.

February’s book is the novel “Bel Canto,” by Ann Patchett, which we are discussing on Thursday, February 6 at noon to 1 pm in the Campus Center library. You are welcome to join us; bring your lunch if you like. Our book selections include both fiction and nonfiction. Come for one discussion or several. And you are welcome to come if you didn’t read the book.
