On Sunday, August 18st, at 6 pm, we will be hosting a “Welcome Back” BBQ for our Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) students! The BBQ is meant to welcome back students to LCM and ASU after the summer break and invite new students to get to know our student community. If you know anyone who might like to join us, then please feel free to invite them as well!
We are asking people to bring different foods potluck-style for the Welcome Back Students BBQ: a salad, deviled eggs, fruit, veggies, dessert, or beverages. You can sign up on the moving bulletin board or contact the office: info@ulctempe.org or 480-967-3543. (Note: The Welcome Back BBQ is a separate sign-up sheet from regular student meals.)

Abide–ELCA Young Adults
ABIDE—ELCA YOUNG ADULTS
Abide is a ministry of the ELCA Young Adult Ministries. These small group sessions are run by and for young adults, usually in four-week increments. Topics span a wide range of subjects, pertaining to one of three areas: theological/spiritual practice based discussions, advocacy/justice trainings or discussions, and fellowship and fun groups.
As the November election inches ever closer, ELCA Advocacy and ELCA Young Adult Ministries have teamed up to engage young voters in our church. We want to help orient young adults voting in this election by offering them resources specific to them and their questions.
Autumn Byars will be leading June’s Abide group for young adults! This small group, for participants between the ages of 18 and 35, will focus on voter engagement and election preparedness as ways to live out our faith. Meeting time is Thursdays in June at 7:30 CST. Registration is required. Thank you!
