The Finance and Stewardship Committee teamed up with the Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) and University Lutheran Church (ULC) Young Adults to make blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit gives to blankets to children in our area who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
A special thank you to Savannah Bradley, ASU and LCM student, who coordinated the project and showed us how to make the no-sew blankets!
Our University Lutheran Church (ULC) Young Adults recently met to discuss the upcoming ELCA Young Adult Gathering in New Orleans from July 16-20. The theme for the Gathering is “Created to Be” entered on Psalm 139:14 (I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.)
Due to the expense, the ULC Young Adults will be planning fundraisers to help cover some of the costs. If you would like to make a donation for the young adults who will be attending, you may do so on our website. Please scroll to: LCM Individual Gifts and in the “Note” section—put Young Adult Gathering. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Bishop Hutterer invites synod members to join the 40-day Lenten Challenge, marking ELCA World Hunger’s 50th year. Participants are encouraged to engage in daily devotion, discipline, decluttering, and donations to ELCA World Hunger.
This initiative reflects on Lent’s spirit, fostering connection and awareness of global hunger. The challenge aims to surpass last year’s engagement, competing with partner Synods for the most participants. For details and to join, visit lentenchallenge.org.
