Acts 4:32-35: “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. How is God showing up during our transition at University Lutheran and Lutheran Campus Ministry? God shows up all the time in people’s lives even during times of change. Last week Dylan Weeks, Paul Westermann, and Chris Sandoval were invited to share about Lutheran Campus Ministry at Love of Christ Lutheran Church in Mesa. Last December, members of this congregation generously supported our Lefse fundraiser. Dylan, Paul and Chris enjoyed a soup supper, being in community with another group of God’s people and sharing their stories with those who had gathered for the midweek Lenten service. Following the service, they shared about LCM and answered questions regarding our congregation, the weekly meals and our community. I believe folks enjoyed learning about the ways LCM impacts students and young adults in our community. Thanks be to God.

The Tempe Festival of the Arts is this weekend (March 8-10 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm). Parts of downtown Tempe will be blocked off for the event. See Festival map.

We are looking for a Treasurer. MaryBeth LaMont has been doing a great job as our Treasurer, but she will be stepping down from that role. (She will continue as our church Secretary.) The main duties for the Treasurer are:

• Preparing monthly financial reports and attending monthly ULC Council meetings
• Overseeing all the funds
• Assisting ULC Council with annual budget
• Creating and presenting a brief Treasurer’s report for the annual meeting
• Filing monthly/annual taxes/W-2s
• Writing a few checks as needed (MaryBeth will remain on account and will also be able to assist with this.)
