Work Day – December 14, 9 am
Work Day is scheduled for December 14th at 9am.
We will be working on Christmas decorations, putting up Christmas trees, a wreath, garlands around the doors and exterior lights.
Everyone is welcome including students.
This is always a fun time as we prepare for Christmas.
Condolences – Aubrie Yvonne Kauppi
to the family and loved ones of Aubrie Yvonne Kauppi. Aubrie died November 26 at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She was born August 16, 2019. Aubrie was the daughter of Chris and Monique Kauppi and the granddaughter of Lynn and Karen Kauppi. Aubrie’s service was held at University Lutheran Church, December. 7.
Global Nutrition Resolution
Good news: the Global Nutrition Resolution (H.Res.189) passed this week! Remember writing during our Offering of Letters emphasis in spring? Well, with your prayers, actions, grassroots support and financial backing, this legislation gained 154 cosponsors in the House and 41 in the Senate: one of the most bipartisan pieces of legislation Congress has passed this year. You can be proud that your efforts helped underscore the importance of sustained U.S. leadership to accelerate global progress against maternal and child nutrition. Do celebrate this win!
