Seven Things Christians Need to Know About the Bible

Our Wednesday evening (6:30) contemporary worship will begin on August 25, 2021. Our theme for service will be “Seven Things Christians Need to Know About the Bible.” Everyone is welcome to attend the Contemporary Worship at 6:30 in our sanctuary. We hope you can join us for any or all of the services.

August 25: The Bible Did Not Fall From the Sky.
September 1: The Bible: Divinely Given/Humanly Written.
September 8: Scripture as Norm.
September 15: The Bible: For Our Time, Not About Our Time
September 22: Taking the Bible Seriously, Not Literally.
September 29: The Bible: A Story of the Relationship of God With God’s People.
October 6: The Bible: Manger in Which the Christ Child Lies.

San Diego Retreat

July 10, 2021

At this time we are planning on going to San Diego for our annual Labor Day Weekend Retreat. All who attend must be fully vaccinated. We will leave Friday September 3 and return Monday, September 6. Contact Pr. Gary if you are planning to attend.

Campus Ministry Student Schedule

July 10, 2021

Wednesdays beginning August 25 this will be our weekly schedule

5-5:30pm Bible Study
5:30-6:30pm Dinner
6:30-7:10pm worship

Sundays
Worship 10:30am, dinner following

All activities will be in person. Bible studies can be available by Zoom. As always, there are takeout meals and generally left-overs to take out as well. Worship will not be live streamed for Wednesdays.

Student Meals

Thanks to all who signed up or gave a contribution to feed students. Meals are Sundays after worship and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm. You can contact the church office 9480.967.3543 or info@ulctempe.org to sign up for a meal. We also accept gift cards for Frys & Safeway. This way we can have students shop & prepare the meals when needed. Thank you!!
