Interim Pastor Arhiana Shek Dill along with Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) students, Autumn Byars and Christine Rajarigam, participated in ASU’s Ashes To Go event on Ash Wednesday (2/14/2024) at the ASU main campus. ASU also held this event at their other campuses as well.
“Ashes to Go” is about bringing spirit, belief, and belonging out from behind church doors, and into the places where we go every day. It’s a simple event with deep meaning, drawing on centuries of tradition and worship to provide a contemporary moment of grace.
University Lutheran Church (ULC) member and the Bishop’s Associate for Candidacy and Faith Formation, Jacqui Pagel, was on campus and got ashes to go!
Mid-week Lenten worship will be each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary or via live stream:
Please note: we will not have mid-week Lenten service on Wednesday, March 27th. We will be having dinner church at 5:30 pm in the Campus Center. Everyone is welcome.
Maundy Thursday worship will be March 28th at 6:30 pm. Good Friday worship will be March 29th at 7:00 pm (please note time change for this service). All worship services will be in our sanctuary or live streamed on our website (www.ulctempe.org). Thank you!

The Finance and Stewardship Committee teamed up with the Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) and University Lutheran Church (ULC) Young Adults to make blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit gives to blankets to children in our area who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
A special thank you to Savannah Bradley, ASU and LCM student, who coordinated the project and showed us how to make the no-sew blankets!
