Our prayers surround the family and loved ones of Richard “Dick” Shirley. Dick died January 20th in a Tempe hospice. Dick had been a member of University Lutheran for several years and currently served on church council. Service date and time are pending.

We will be publishing the January newsletter in early December due to the holidays and some vacation time. If you have anything for the newsletter, please send to the office (info@ulctemep.org) by Thursday, December 2, 2021. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

The Men’s Breakfast is scheduled for November 6th at 8:00 am. The men will meet at Sunny’s (McClintock and University) for breakfast then head to the church for the ULC Work Session (9:00 am to 12 noon).

The Property Committee is having a work session on November 6th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. All are welcome to help clean up the church property. We encourage everyone to wear their University Lutheran t-shirts.

If you have not yet picked up a t-shirt, there is a limited supply available in the office. Thank you!

Fond greetings, my new ULC friends!

Thank you for your warm welcome, and for your kind time and attention during my visit to University Lutheran yesterday! I really enjoyed my time with all of you, and I loved having time for a little chili and cornbread with your fabulous students after service. I appreciate you!
