Do you knit or crochet? If not, would you like to learn? Our knitting and crochet group makes prayer shawls. No experience is needed. Any age is welcome: students to seniors. We can provide all the supplies (yarn, crochet needles, and knitting needles), as well as training, instruction books, and coaching.
Do you know someone who could use the comfort of a prayer shawl? There are plenty to shawls choose from in the shelves in the Campus Center. If you do take one, all we ask is that you share the story of who the shawl went to. You don’t need to provide the recipient’s name, a description such “a friend” Is fine.
Prayer shawls have been sent all over the U.S. and to Jerusalem to family and friends in need, as well as to churches in communities that have suffered tragedies.
