Murphy may have had a good laugh on us as we moved indoors for the first time to take advantage of the air-conditioning and we did so on a day the AC did not need to run.
Beneath our masks, however, we were smiling as well. It was nice to be back in the sanctuary! We had a nice turn-out and everyone followed seating directions, wore their masks and praised God. It was good to be “home” again! It makes us even more excited as we anticipate returning to our pre-pandemic worship September 12.
So, be ready to sign up to read lessons, help with communion, usher, etc. When we get a plan together we will need folks to help with live-streaming worship too as well as feeding students when they return. In the mean-time love your neighbor by being vaccinated, stay safe, and thank God for seeing us through.
