Hello all,
We can put this up front so we can mix the 2 piano mics and instruments (cello, bass, etc., and wired vocal mics, and send a stereo mix to the snake to solve the challenges with not enough channels in the snake. It is more channels than we need, but its a really good price and I’ve compared many options. It’s much cheaper than getting a new snake. And smaller mixers with similar features cost about the same.
Marybeth, If you prefer for me to order (there are also 2 requests I sent for mic cables and mic stands at Amazon), no problem. Just please LMK how to bill to the church.
I’m looking at headworn mics for the pastor/officiant to use. I’m hoping to find one we can use with one of the wireless receivers we already have instead of having to buy another one. The mic is about $600 and the transmitters and receivers are expensive too. I’ll report when I learn more about the equipment we have in place now and what would interface well.
Adding the mixer should help a lot. It may take some fine-tuning with settings to get the sound quality we need.
